This Privacy Policy explains how Sudoku Puzzle: ColorQueens handles information in the iPhone app and on the ColorQueens website.
Overview
Sudoku Puzzle: ColorQueens is a logic puzzle game. We do not sell personal information, do not show third-party ads, and do not track you across apps or websites owned by other companies.
The app is designed to work without an account. Puzzle progress and gameplay settings are intended to stay on your device unless a feature clearly uses an online service.
Data We Collect
We do not require you to provide your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, photos, health information, financial information, or other personal content to play.
Purchases may be collected as anonymous App Store purchase or subscription history. This purchase information is used to unlock and verify paid ColorQueens features. It is not linked to your identity and is not used for tracking.
The website may collect limited analytics and diagnostics data, such as page views, device/browser information, referrer, and performance information. This helps us understand whether the site works correctly.
The web demo may send puzzle state and gameplay requests to online services when you use Gemini move or hint features. These requests are used to generate the requested game response.
If you contact support by email, we receive the email address and message content you choose to send.
How We Use Data
We use data only to:
- Provide gameplay features you request.
- Unlock, manage, and validate paid features.
- Operate and improve the website.
- Diagnose bugs and performance issues.
- Reply to support requests.
- Protect the app and website from abuse.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers that help operate the app or website, when required by law, or when needed to protect our rights, users, or services.
Third-Party Services
Sudoku Puzzle: ColorQueens and its website may use these services:
- Apple App Store by Apple Inc. for app distribution, downloads, and App Store-related purchase handling. Apple handles App Store account and payment information under Apple's privacy policy.
- RevenueCat by RevenueCat, Inc. for managing and validating Apple In-App Purchases and subscriptions. RevenueCat may receive anonymous Apple App Store transaction receipts. This data is not linked to your identity and is not used for tracking.
- Vercel Analytics by Vercel Inc. for privacy-focused website analytics and performance measurement.
- Google Gemini API by Google LLC for optional AI-assisted gameplay in the web demo when you request a move or hint.
Each third-party service processes information according to its own privacy policy.
Payments are processed by Apple. We do not receive your credit card details or Apple ID password.
Data Retention
On-device puzzle progress and settings remain on your device until you delete them or uninstall the app.
Purchase validation data is retained by Apple and RevenueCat according to their retention practices and as needed to keep paid features available.
Website analytics and diagnostics are retained according to the service provider's retention settings.
Support emails are retained as long as reasonably needed to respond, maintain records, and resolve follow-up issues.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards for the app and website. Online requests are sent using HTTPS where supported. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Choices and Rights
You can delete local app data by deleting the app from your device.
You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID settings.
You can choose not to use optional online features in the web demo.
You can contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of information you have provided directly to us, such as support emails. We may need to retain limited records when required by law or for legitimate operational reasons.
Children's Privacy
Sudoku Puzzle: ColorQueens is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate action.
International Transfers
Service providers may process information in countries other than your own. When this happens, information may be subject to the laws of those countries.
App Tracking Transparency
Sudoku Puzzle: ColorQueens does not track users as defined by Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework. We do not use data from the app to track you across apps or websites owned by other companies.
Push Notifications
Sudoku Puzzle: ColorQueens does not require push notifications to play. If notifications are added in the future, you will be able to control them through iOS settings.
